JOB BRIEF

Manages client projects as assigned by the client service team for Creative Blue, Compassion's internal agency. Develops and maintains positive working relationships with internal clients.
Manage the day-to-day workflow of creative projects for a variety of internal clients. Works closely with the Agency team (Creative, Account Service and Production) to ensure projects are delivered on time. The Traffic Specialist maintains the agencies priority sheet and provide the tools to help determine agency capacity. Is an overseer of the agencies internal workflow and process. In addition, the position creates project close-out reports detailing the agencies performance in regards to time, budget and quality.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion's ministry in prayer.
Acts as an advocate for children
- raising the awareness of the needs, neglect, nurture, and potential of children in poverty and challenging and enabling those within one's influence to greater involvement and effectiveness on behalf of children.
Actively maintains the Agency's partition of Compassion's creative project management software, Workamajig, in close coordination with the Marketing Process Specialist (MPS) in Compassion USA's Campaign Activity Management team.
Manages the workflow of all agency projects. Uses project management software to document and schedule projects, track status and produce Agency dashboard reports.
Develops increasing expertise in the use of Workamajig. Trains Agency staff on usage and provide on-going user support of Workamajig to meet the Agency's needs.
In coordination with the MPS, interacts with the software company and the Information Technology division for support, upgrade and stability issues related to Workamajig.
Runs Agency project status meetings and ensures that project updates are entered into the project management software in a timely manner.
Provides the Agency team with the tools/information necessary to track project status and estimate individual contributors' capacity.
Produces close-out reports to communicate critical project metrics to the Agency and clients.

Skills / Requirements
FUNCTIONAL JOB COMPETENCIES

  1. Proven ablity to deal with multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment. Persistent with follow through. Demonstrated flexibility to juggle shifting priorities with ease.

  2. A team player with strong communications skills – both verbal and written – who can build relationships at all levels of the agency.

  3. Experience with computers including Word and Excel. Must be comfortable learning new software.

  4. Detail and deadline-oriented, accurate and proven organizational skills.

  5. Good judgement and problem solving abilities.

  6. Professional demeanor and confidence. Ability to relate to people with warmth, tact and respect. Experience in customer service is preferred.

  7. Ability to build the trust, confidence and respect of clients and co-workers while working in a professional environment.

  8. Problem solver, and self-starter with excellent customer service skills – both for internal clients and Agency co-workers

  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.




  10. JOB QUALIFICATIONS


    1. Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

    2. Bachelor's degree in advertising, public relations, marketing, organizational or mass communications is preferred.

    3. 2+ years relevant work experience is desired (Traffic, Scheduling, Project Management).

    4. Certifications/Licensing: N/A

    5. Other Required Skills: Competency in Microsoft Office products and project planning software.
