JOB BRIEF

The Application Support Developer/Specialist will be responsible for supporting the lifecycle of corporate-wide and customer-specific technology-based products. Primarily working with 3rd party (commercial off-the-shelf and Software as a Service) systems, candidate will develop necessary custom entities, ensure components meet business requirements and are ready for system test, deployment to production environments, and remain stable over the lifecycle of the product. Work as part of a team supporting Customer Service Products serving 600 users locally as well as 10 International Partner offices. Environment is fast paced, challenging and dynamic with lots of customer interface to support our major Sponsor/Donor, Call Center, Income Processing, Distribution Center, Marketing and International Partner business units.

Acts as an advocate for children

Customer Service Products: Third party product solution research, application development and support knowledge around major business functions. (e.g. Telephony, CRM, Distribution Center, Income Processing, Marketing, International Partners, etc.)

FUNCTIONAL JOB COMPETENCIES

1. Experience with 3rd party (commercial off-the-shelf) applications/vendors with managing tech on tech vendor relationships, performing upgrades, providing break/fix services and other technical services as required.


2. Develop tools and applications that support the organization's need to collect, integrate, analyze, and present data from a wide array of sources.


3. Experience working with Microsoft's Enterprise server products like NT, Windows 2000/2003, Exchange Server, IIS, MOSS, MOPP, Active Directory and SQL


4. Experience with integration techniques in an Enterprise environment. Familiar with PC's in a client/server environment including .Net Framework and other Microsoft products.


5. Strong people, team, relational and communication skills. Ability to present ideas effectively to peers, management and customers in one-on-one and group situations. Ability to provide basic project management capabilities.


6. Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Accurately plans out and schedules tasks necessary to successfully accomplish a wider scope project. Effective trouble shooting, problem solving skills.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

1. Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.


2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology Management, or equivalent experience preferred.


3. 5+ years experience in systems and applications support for enterprise and COTS products. Knowledge of the following applications a plus: Interactive Intelligence CIC Telephony and VOIP technologies, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, CRM from Right Now Technologies, Workamajig, Wausau Financial Systems (WFS ) solution, various Distribution Services and Income Processing applications, and other applications or Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.


4. Certifications/Licensing: Microsoft certification for Windows Servers (2000/2003, etc.) SQL Server and MS CRM desired.


5. Other Required Skills:
Database expertise (MS SQL 2000, 2005)
