JOB BRIEF

Manages SDS Production training and quality strategy for Sponsor & Donor Processing and the Distribution Center. Maintains expertise and awareness of industry best practices relative to training data entry, payments and statements processing, account maintenance, postal and financial regulations, manual processes, a variety of equipment/machines and software/technology. Help to drive innovation in training processes, content and philosophy. Work together with the SDS training team and Production Supervisors to assess overall departmental training needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Acts as an advocate for children
- raising the awareness of the needs, neglect, nurture, and potential of children in poverty and challenging and enabling those within one's influence to greater involvement and effectiveness on behalf of children. Works closely with Sponsor & Donor Processing and Distribution Center leadership teams to develop departmental training and quality strategy that supports Balanced Scorecard objectives and individual department KRIs. Coaches and develops the Sponsor Donor Services Production Training and Content Development Team. Ensures an environment of mentorship, collaboration and best practices exists within each of these teams. Monitors progress and provides regular feedback to ensure the highest levels of customer service, communication and training are accomplished. Implements a formal, comprehensive training curriculum for SDP and DCR and ensures that changes to training procedures are coordinated with updates to departmental process documentation.

FUNCTIONAL JOB COMPETENCIES

1. Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, interpersonal and public speaking ability for building and maintaining rapport with members of other departments within Compassion.
2. Thorough understanding of adult learning models & elements of effective curriculum design. Ability to implement training programs that support multiple skill levels and learning styles.
3. Basic knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to production training to include both automated and manual processes, technology and equipment.
4. Experience with and understanding of Computer Based Training programs and software is highly preferred.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

1. Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
2. Associates degree related to adult education is highly preferred.
3. 1-2 years of experience in a management level position. 1-2 years of training experience in a production environment.
