JOB BRIEF

Responsible for cultivating internal client relationships to position Compassion's internal Agency as the agency of choice for Compassion USA's creative and production needs. Develops and maintains relationships with current and future clients, serving as the first line of contact with the Agency clients and the Campaign Activity Management team. Develops and presents creative strategies for the client's creative needs based on direction provided through creative/operations briefs and project kickoff meetings. Works with the internal Agency creative and production teams to manage projects to successful completion. Maintains high level of customer service and satisfaction on projects managed by the Agency.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion's ministry in prayer.
Acts as an advocate for children
- raising the awareness of the needs, neglect, nurture, and potential of children in poverty and challenging and enabling those within one's influence to greater involvement and effectiveness on behalf of children.
Manages internal client accounts and projects for Compassion's in-house creative agency.
Works closely with internal clients, translating marketing and communication plans and goals into creative strategies and projects.
Develops and maintains trusting, respectful, consultative and professional relationships with internal clients. Meets regularly with internal clients and marketing coordinators to discuss current and future creative and production needs in support of Compassion USA's marketing goals and activities.
Works collaboratively with the creative and production staff of the agency to ensure client projects are developed according to creative strategy, specifications, budget and schedule. Projects may involve a variety of media including print, direct mail, banners and displays, video, web and interactive, e-mail, radio and television.
Involves the client in the creative process and keeps the client informed of the status of projects. Coordinates client creative reviews and approvals. Provides to client timely summaries of meetings including topics discussed, decisions made, issues identified, next steps, effort to date and estimate to complete. Consults with clients on the interpretation of Compassion brand image, messaging standards and guidelines into creative strategies and projects. Collaborates with the Agency Director to ensure that all materials produced by the Agency are on-strategy and consistent with corporate brand standards and messaging guidelines.
Participates as a member of the Agency Management Team. Reviews creative for all major projects. Works in partnership with the Agency Director and fellow members of the client service team to coordinate any potentially conflicting, overlapping or related projects.
Maintains current and accurate updates of client projects through Creative Manager.
Actively promotes the Agency and its competencies to internal clients and Campaign Activity Management team. Represents the Agency as needed on corporate and divisional projects.

FUNCTIONAL JOB COMPETENCIES

1. Superior strategic communications skills supported by a portfolio of work demonstrating effective results for clients, including non-profit organizations.
2. Competency and significant experience in developing creative strategies for marketing and communications campaigns.
3. Demonstrated experience in managing multiple, complex creative and production projects to successful completion.
4. Ability to build the trust, confidence and respect of clients and co-workers while working in a professional environment. Excellent customer service skills required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

1. Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
2. Education: Master's degree in advertising, public relations, marketing, organizational or mass communications is preferred.
3. Experience: 8+ years experience in Agency and/or corporate settings preferred. Significant experience in brand advertising, direct response, radio, television and video production, or public relations.
4. Certifications/Licensing: N/A
5. Other Required Skills: Competency in Microsoft Office products and project-planning software.
