Job: Assistant Overnight Supervisor

premier residential psychiatric treatment facility for children and adolescents, is seeking an
Overnight Assistant Supervisor for our Westminster campus.

Job Summary: In coordination with the Overnight Supervisor establishes and maintains a safe
and therapeutic environment in a residential setting. Protects health and safety of clients by
ensuring staff are completing their assigned duties. This includes doing 15 minute checks,
implementing overnight unit expectations, doing medical records filing and communicating with
evening and morning shift to ensure a smooth unit operation. Completes annual evaluations and
direct supervision for assigned employees. Provides feedback and support to direct reports to
ensure they are completing their assigned duties. Checks on each unit at least 3 times per night
and completes nightly Overnight Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor duties including census, unit
checks, door checks, and end of shift report. Participates as a member of the Overnight Team and
maintains a team environment. Serves as a role model, mentor, leader, and/or trainer to Mental
Health Workers.

Education: Requires a Bachelors degree, preferably in a human services field. Minimum of 4 years
of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience: Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. A minimum of one year of milieu experience
in a treatment facility for children or adolescents is required. Prefer a minimum of one year of
supervisory experience.
