Jobing Description
Responsible for developing and implementing a sales business plan and fostering a mutually beneficial relationship between customers and Shamrock Foods. The candidate must live in or be willing to move to assigned territory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, and other sources.
Travels through assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers on sales floor or by phone.
Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
Collections, order guide maintenance and order entry of assigned territory street accounts
Administer all item changes for the properties assuring highest level of compliance.
Attend required customer and company scheduled meeting.
Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.

Skills / Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must have a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be able to use a laptop computer.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Must be proficient in the English language.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures i.e. add, subtract, multiply in whole number, decimals, and fractions. Able to calculate amounts such as discounts, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Must be able to use sound logic and reasoning in stressful situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current driver‚s license and auto insurance required.
