Blog Post: Are you on"The Path"?

Are you on the path to a career that takes your interests into account?                            How do you find out what you need to do to prepare for that ideal career?

It is common to get hired and then try to find a purpose in the position. Never really having a passion for the job, just "doing time", and not even appreciating being employed.

For those of you who have time to ponder a true career path that brings out the best in you try this tool. It allows the user to see what is needed to follow their heart to the "perfect" job. I put that in quotes because many of us find more than one path in the course of our lives, each one hopefully "perfect" at the time.

You pick a career and are guided through what is needed to reach the level you seek. Whether you start as early as middle school, or anytime there after, the steps needed to achieve your goal are listed.

I find it especially useful for the individuals I work with who have experienced a barrier to employment due to disability for that very reason.

You can be a young person with a dream or in your thirties trying to start over after a traumatic event and find a road map to make your vision a reality.
