In a time when most companies are facing a downturn of profits and a decline in work/output, many companies have no choice but to terminate employees as part of an overall strategy to weather the storm. How do you handle this overwhelming task? First, terminations should be strategic. Employees to be terminated should be selected with care and in harmony with the company's overall philosophy and goals.
