Blog Post: Why Would Anyone Consider Starting a Business NOW?
posted Friday, October 9, 2009 11:11 AM
You may wonder why anyone would consider starting a business right now when all we hear about is the struggling economy, the layoffs, the huge national debt, the continuing gloom and doom coming from the media. Well, I say this is the perfect time to separate the real entrepreneurs from the wanna-be entrepreneurs! Seriously, why waste a perfectly good recession!?
A true entrepreneur is a calculated risk taker. A true entrepreneur will see that now is an excellent time to start a business. A business is an investment—just like an investment in the stock market. A saavy investor will buy low and sell high. A saavy entrepreneur should do the same! Lease rates are lower, and more negotiable, than we have seen in a long time. NOW is the best time to lock up a multi-year lease for a business, at a great rate, that will be a continued benefit for years to come. Invest low, sell high!
