Medical Center expanding
healthcare system includes a 218-
bed medical center with Level II
trauma care in Cheyenne Physician
Group and Home Care Centers that
expand to Wheatland and
Torrington.

We currently have a Clinical
Nursing Educator position
available for our Operating Room
Department. This is a full-time,
day shift in Cheyenne.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Ongoing clinical and
professional development of the
nursing staff
* Facilitate learning utilizing
various methods:
lecture/teleconference;
demonstration; clinical
simulation; computer based
learning/web-based e-learning
application
* Evaluate learning effectiveness
using standardized outcome
measurements
* Provide leadership in the
collection, review and analysis
of data
* Assure seamless orientation of
new and/or transferring clinical
staff, as well as support and
develop preceptors, mentors,
clinical scholars, nurse
residents and advance practice
curriculum
* Provide clinical leadership in
assigned committees and teams
* Completes mandatory education
requirements.

Skills / Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelors degree in Nursing,
Education, or related field;
Masters degree preferred
* Current RN licensure in
the State of Wyoming
* Three years experience in area
of specialty required
* Advanced clinical certification
for assigned clinical focus
preferred
* Two years in a role with primary
responsibility for design and
delivery of learning content
preferred
