About Us

Employment Works strives each day to make disability employment a reality in our society.  Too often, fear and misunderstanding are the root causes for why people with disabilities are absent from the workforce.  Through education and partnerships, Employment Works aspires to influence a change of heart and mind so that successful employment for all people is the result.  Below are just some of the accomplishments we have achieved over the years:

·         Thousands of Coloradoans have taken advantage of Benefits and Work Incentive Planning and Assistance services.  By gaining a better understanding of one’s benefits, people are able to more confidently make the decision to reenter the workforce.

·         Hundreds of individuals have received one-on-one Job Placement Assistance.  These individuals, through a choice driven employment plan, have obtained and retained employment and progressed into a more self-sufficient, independent lifestyle.

·         Dozens of businesses and employers have joined our Business Advisory Council.  During each council meeting, businesses and employers are able to discuss their employment needs as well as learn more about what it means to hire people with disabilities.

·         A countless number of partnerships have been made throughout the state and country to help better serve individuals with employment related impairments.  These partnerships help to solidify seamless resources to our served population.
