Profile: Colorado Public Human Resource Association

Colorado Public Human Resources Association (CPHRA) has been in existence for over 30 years. The organization began in the early 1970’s as the Colorado Public Personnel Directors Association (CPPDA). In 1985, there was recognition that all levels of HR needed the support of the HR community; thus, the name and mission of the organization was changed, and it became Colorado Public Personnel Association (CPPA). Still maintaining the support for all HR professionals, the organization is now known as CPHRA, with the name change in 2001. The Board is dedicated to continuing CPHRA’s long-standing support of HR professionals in the Public Sector.
