Job Description-Overview:
Responsible for responding to Crisis calls and assisting Clinical evaluators to complete comprehensive assessment of persons whose lives are disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbances, substance abuse issues or inability to function or maintain in the community. Provide professional and clinical triage services to mental health and substance abusing clientele. Works as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide intervention, screening, admission or referral through face to face or phone contacts. Supports and provides quality client care through effective networking. Demonstrates the ability to perform, analyze and document findings for mental health and substance abuse assessments and interventions. Provides scheduling and linkage into internal and external programs. Responsible for navigating the treatment needs of the client, referring to internal and external resources as appropriate and aligning care outcomes; involves family and/or caretakers, when appropriate, in all aspects of client care. Performs all intake and admissions for 24 hour Programs.
***This position works 8 - 24 hours per week and requires the flexibility to work at any time.***

Job Description - Requirements:

' Bachelors Degree in a mental health related field

' Experience in a crisis and intake environment
' Must have language skills and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing to
accurately and professionally implement and document the services provided to
clients and outside professionals
' Must possess basic computer skills and type 25 WPM for the input and output of
client information using an electronic record
' Experience using various treatment modalities appropriate for a populations in crisis,
utilizing strength-based therapeutic approaches
' Excellent customer service
