AlloSource is currently seeking a Donor Services Field Representative to join our outstanding team.

Position Summary:
The Donor Services Field Representative II promotes and enhances relationships between AlloSource and the OPO/recovery agency partners through on-site visits, feedback and training. The Donor Services Field Representative performs new and on-going recovery training, recovery feedback, and recovery assessments. The Donor Services Field Representative develops and prepares reports and provides observations back to AlloSource management.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
* Identifies areas where AlloSource can assist the OPO/recovery agencies in improving the recovery of tissue.
* Travels to locations where AlloSource has OPO/recovery agency affiliations. In-services and trains recovery personnel in the recovery of existing or new tissues to ensure appropriate recovery techniques are followed. Travel will constitute a large amount of the Donor Services Field Representative II‚s‚s time.
* Assists recovery agencies with their existing hospital development programs. Ensures that appropriate information is being disseminated to donor referral centers, hospital staff and consent requestors regarding tissue transplantation to assist in obtaining "informed consent" from donor families.
* Summarizes OPO/recovery agency observations and collects recovery data and provides reports to management.
* Participate in the on-call schedule for donor screening as needed.
* Assists in OPO/recovery agency audits and reports back to management.
* Assists other Allosource departments to obtain information from the OPO/recovery agencies.
* Travel to OPO/recovery agencies to observe and/or assist in tissue recoveries for training purposes

Skills / Requirements

Education/ Formal Training Required:
* High School Diploma

Education/ Formal Training Required:
* Bachelors Degree
* Certified Tissue Bank Specialist

Job and Industry Experience Required:
* 3 years in the health care field
* 3 years‚ experience working at an OPO/Tissue Recovery organization with tissue recovery experience.

Job and Industry Experience Preferred:
* Medical terminology
* Operating room experience
* Requesting consent from donor families
* Training
