Responsible for providing oversight leadership, strategic direction and overall operational management of physician services and medical staff administration for the Group. Reporting to the Group CEO, this role is responsible for developing strategic plans and policies that align and empower synergies within the group as well as work to address operational issues that build effective relationships between the Group entities and within each entity, its medical staffs and regional physicians who might use any of the Group facilities for patient care services. This includes establishing relationships with new physicians and developing rapport with other non-referring physicians that support Centura Health strategies and utilization of Systems of Care within the organization. Represents Centura and the Group in its ideals, values, principles and mission to the medical staff and community physicians. Partners with Group and System leadership in all related strategic medical affair issues, physician networks development, joint ventures, physician relationships, physician recruitment and physician development for the system. Additional responsibilities include establishing and implementing standards and policies to ensure the quality of medical care. Serves as a community resource and provides advice and counsel to Group leadership and entity CMOs on medical and administrative matters related to medical practice and current affairs.
Skills / Requirements
Board Certified Physician in good standing within the State of Colorado
10 plus years clinical practice with experience in health plan, hospital, or peer review administrative or committee structure. Medical staff relations, quality measurement credentialing and previous medical management experience highly desirable Centura Health Mountains and North Denver Operating Group (MNDOG)

St. Anthony North Hospital, Westminster
More than three decades after opening its doors the community that St. Anthony North services has grown considerably. St. Anthony North is a modern community resource and offers a wide variety of services including emergency services, OB/GYN, women's health, heart care, orthopedics and spine, family medicine, trauma services, and sleep studies. With the St. Anthony North Family Medicine Residency Program dating back to the early 1970's, the organization has a long standing tradition of training bright and compassionate family physicians.
With 196 licensed beds St. Anthony North has one of the busiest emergency rooms in the state, seeing more than 42,000 emergency patients each year. This facility provides surgical services currently available to Summit County residents at the medical center with a separate entrance and waiting area. Peak One Surgery Center is a joint venture between the hospital and local physicians.
OrthoColorado
OrthoColorado Hospital is a joint venture between Panorama Orthopedics & Spine Center and St. Anthony Hospital. The 48 bed, 88,000 square foot facility opened in June 2010 at the new St. Anthony Medical Campus in Lakewood and has a full complement of orthopedic and spine services.
