Provide leadership and management for all personnel for the following departments: Sage Restaurant & Bar, Sage Kitchen, Black Saddle Restaurant & Kitchen, Daily Beach Club Restaurant & Kitchen and Beverage Carts. Establish and maintain food and beverage standards of quality and service. Daily shift coverage in our flagship outlet, Sage Restaurant & Bar.
Direct Reports: Sage Restaurant Manager, Executive Chef, Daly Beach Club Manager, Black Saddle Manager. Skills / Requirements
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
1. Leadership; clearly convey the overall operating philosophy of the Snowmass Club to subordinates, specifically as it relates to fair and equal treatment of employees, creating an enjoyable, secure work environment, reviewing employees personal goals and objectives, and practicing friendly, sincere management. 2. Interface with other Snowmass Club managers and supervisors outside of the F&B department to establish communication lines for processing and amending inter-club concerns. 3. Prepare annual operating plans in conjunction with key personnel for departments supervised. 4. Prepare annual budget for all F&B outlets. 5. Strong attention to service and presentation standards in all F&B outlets. 6. Oversee all staff hiring and training with a strong focus on employee retention. 7. Assist in development of job descriptions, procedures, operating criteria and standards of performance for all areas directly supervised. 8. Operate and oversee implementation of advertising campaigns for F&B outlets. 9. Coordinate with Chef and Restaurant Managers on the presentation of attractive, current menus and wine lists. 10. Ensure all personnel related responsibilities (i.e. employee evaluations, employee relations, wage and hour compliance, etc.) are documented and achieved in a timely manner. 11. Maintain an active presence in the Sage and Black Saddle dining rooms during peak times by working scheduled shifts to cover days off. 12. Plan and oversee annual marketing plans with specific, measurable profit goals for all F&B outlets. 13. Take a visible leadership role with Club members and guests. 14. Responsible for ensuring department heads operate by proper delegation of authority as outlined in the organizational chart. 15. Must be able to demonstrate constant leadership. 16. Must poses tact and polish required to interact with community leaders, club guests, etc. Physical requirements of this position include: 1. Able to stand high levels of stress. 2. Standing, walking, sitting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, keyboard operations, talking, hearing and seeing. Education, Experience, Skills: 1. High School Diploma, College education preferred. 2. 5 years experience in Food and Beverage. 3. 2 years minimum experience as a department head. Important Notes
