SITEWISE, LLC is looking for an experienced Manager of Training and Quality for our Contract Locate division.
JOB SUMMARY
Develop and Management of the Training and Quality department. Coordinate, and direct training and development programs for staff level employees by performing the following duties and responsibilities either personally or through subordinate supervisors and Training and Quality Department employees. In addition, managers are accountable for ensuring staff employees are delivering quality locates, meeting productivity goals and customer service results by producing properly trained supervisory and staff employees.
Summary of essential job functions
Conducts needed analysis studies and partners with managers and supervisors to determine training needs in order to increase productivity and quality performance.
Formulates training policies, programs, and schedules, based on knowledge of identified training needs, company production processes, changes in products, procedures or services.
Manage and perform analysis of Quality Control audits and Damage investigations with the ability to develop procedures and training of the "Root Cause" issues in regards to these audits and investigations. Must be able to develop a remediation action as it relates to these issues.
Selects appropriate instructional procedures or methods such as individual education, group instruction, self study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role play, course curriculum, and/or computer-based training.
Organizes and develops training manuals, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials
Responsible for ensuring all Quality Audits and functions are completed and documented daily.
Investigates/reviews all damages to identify areas of opportunities for additional training, processes etc.
Maintain and manage the ongoing updates to the various training manuals, training programs and the associated criteria.
Maintain and manage the employee record keeping process both in the short and long term. Using hard copy files and maintaining records in an electronic format.
Skills / Requirements
REQUIREMENTS-
3-5 years of utility locating to include gas, phone, CATV and electric
Prior supervisory experience
Demonstrated skills in Microsoft office products to include Excel, Power Point and access.
Be able to identify training needs and build training plans
Be able to define and execute quality processes in a contract locating environment.
Have strong project management skills with a focus on results
Demonstrate ability to lead others to a win-win conclusion
Have effective communication and teamwork skills
Work closely with managers / supervisors and leads within Operations
Have a positive, mutually beneficial attitude and a willingness to take responsibility
Possess strong analytical skills and detail orientation as needed
Ability to execute multiple priorities in a timely manner
Willing to travel as needed
