Jobing Description

We are looking for a full-time Network Technician II to support the functioning of our various offices throughout Adams County. Under direct supervision, it is the Technician’s responsibility to install, configure and troubleshoot local area computer networks and associated assemblies by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides end-use technical support for PC problems, including issues with hardware, software and the network.
Provides network support and administration of the local area network systems.
Provides in-house support of the telephone communications system as well as coordinating vendor support and services.
Installs and maintains local area network hardware and software, including servers, peripherals, network nodes, terminals, and wiring.
Evaluates local area network hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes recommendations.
Prepares and maintains documentations of network configurations and cabling layouts.
Provides support to and trains users in local area network administration and usage.

Skills / Requirements

Requirements:

Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or directly related field.
Knowledge of personal computer technology with hands-on technical ability in PC assembly/repair/upgrade and troubleshooting.
Ability to load and configure software in Windows environment.
At least one year of experience as a field technician.
A+ Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft MCP certification.
Prior experience in medical/mental health industry.
