Job: An Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Automotive Sales Consultant

Phil Long ValuCar of Denver has an immediate opening for an Experienced Automotive Sales Consultant to build relationships with local businesses, banks and credit unions. If you are an excellent communicator, tenacious, a self starter, financially motivated and able to work autonoumously I would love to discuss opportunities with you. A proven track record is required.

Duties include:

Selling a minimum of 12 vehicles per month; new and used, all makes and models

Outside prospecting of local businesses, banks, and credit unions

Asking questions to determine the customer wants and needs

Selling yourself, the features and benefits of the product and the value in doing business with Phil Long ValuCar of Denver

Taking customers on test drives

Listening for objections and have thorough knowledge of the vehicle to overcome those objections

Working with management in locating vehicles from other dealerships which meet the customer's needs

Developing and maintain an effective referral system

Structuring a follow-up system for contacting customers at a later date to make sure they are satisfied with their vheicle.

Understanding the terminology of the automotive business and keep informed of technological changes in the product

Studying new products, features and benefits as well as competitors' products, features and benefits

Being knowlegable about dealership financing

Attending and participating in sales and training meetings

Abiding by all established policies and procedures regarding the sales process and personal conduct

Must present a positive and professional appearance

Must be able to give a pleasant non-pressured purchase experience

Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Automotive Dealership Sales Experience

Valid Colorado Driver's License
