Devereux Cleo Wallace, Colorado's premier residential psychiatric treatment facility for children
and adolescents, is looking for an awesome individual to join our team as Direct Care Professional
(DCP). Looking to get your feet wet in the field of mental health? Enjoy working with children

In this role you would be afforded the opportunity to work hands-on with a wide variety of
children, including those experiencing problems associated with Bipolar Disorder, Oppositional
Defiant Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, physical/sexual abuse, substance abuse,
Depression, and Psychotic Disorders. Devereux Cleo Wallace receives referrals from agencies
across the country, including the Colorado Division of Youth Corrections.

As a DCP you’ll foster a highly structured and therapeutic environment. This includes providing
client supervision, managing behaviors, facilitating activities, implementing treatment plans,
being a role model, mentor, and counselor, and assisting in the documentation of client progress
through daily, weekly, and monthly logs. The ultimate goal is to promote psychological,
emotional, and physical development among the kids we work with.

A DCP typically works two days during the week (M-F) from 2:30 pm - 11 pm, as well as both
Saturday and Sunday (one 12 hour and one 8 hour shift).

Education: A minimum of an Associates Degree (60 credits) in Psychology, Human Services, or
related field is required. A Bachelors Degree is preferred. One year of experience working with
children in a similar setting may be substituted for educational requirement.

Experience: Experience working with children or adolescents is preferred.

Other: Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Job offers are contingent upon the successful
completion of a pre-employment drug screen, physical, TB test, criminal background check,
professional reference check, and fingerprinting.
