Job: Medical Assistant - Cardiology

National Jewish Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to deliver safe and appropriate patient care within scope of practice and established policies and procedures under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse in our Adult Cardiology Clinic.

Currently, two (2) positions available.

Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent organizational and time management skills, communication skills, problem solving skills, mathematical and computer skills.

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Certification and Licensure:
Medical Assistant Certification; or Registered Medical Assistant Limited Scope: Documentation of completion of a formal program required. CPR/BLS required. Documentation of completion from a formal Medical Assistant program through an accredited school or documentation of a medical program that meets the criteria of a medical assistant program such as military prepared corpsman or medic. Military Corpsman/medic training.

Work Experience:
One (1) year medical assistant experience preferred. ECG experience preferred.
