Coach Counselor / Youth Worker - Idaho Springs, Colorado

Rite of Passage is a nationally recognized academic, vocational, and athletic residential program for at-risk youth. We are currently looking for career minded people for the position of part time Coach/Counselor for our Colorado Qualifying House located in Idaho Springs, Colorado.

We currently have 2 part time positions available; one is assigned to days and the other is assigned to night shift.

Coach Counselors work directly with the student athletes providing leadership, guidance, and direction. This is a physically active position with responsibilities that include supervising students in daily programming; including off site activities, on site mentoring, work related supervision and positive reinforcement of the normative culture.

Simply put, we are looking for men and women who enjoy working with and mentoring young people.

Position Specific Qualifications:
In addition to entry level and universal requirements:
1. Pass criminal background check.
2. Pass TB screen, drug screening and physical examination.
3. Be 21 years of age
4. Minimum of 1 year of experience working with youth or bachelors degree in a related field (copy of college transcripts required.)
5. 3 letters of references
6. Must have valid driver's license, proof of insurance and acceptable driving record
