Job: Part Time Human Resources Generalist

Glen Ayr is currently searching for a part-time (20 hrs) HR Generalist for our privately owned long term care facility located in Lakewood. The position is non-exempt at 20 hours per week with a pay rate range of $17 - $20; commensurate with experience. Part-time employees are eligible to enroll in dental, short term disability, accident, cancer and life insurance, after 30 days of service. In addition to these benefits, part-time employees can also enroll in a flexible spending account after 30 days of service and after a year with the company, can enroll is the 401k savings and retirement plan.

This future team member will possess the following qualifications:

A Bachelors degree along with at least 2 years of recent experience in a generalist role within HR

1 year of recruiting/interviewing experience

1 year experience of performance coaching and counseling

Knowledge of federal and state employment law

Knowledge of Workers Compensation

Experience with employee relations, building positive employee moral and effective employee development

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Proven ability to multi-task

Working in the health care environment is desired
