Electrical Engineer – Cable Infrastructure Equipment
Duties/Responsibilities:

Ongoing maintenance of cable infrastructure equipment

Network administration and desktop support

Develop automated test and repair capabilities locally

Analyze technical requirements and effort associated with test systems and products

Generate engineering documents including schematics, diagnostics, flowcharts, and project status reports

Build, test, debug and develop C, C++ or LINUX applications.

- B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field of science
- 3-5 years experience in Test Engineering
- Knowledge of digital subscriber line (DSL) and Cable TV (CATV) technology
- Clear, analytical approach to solving engineering problems
- Understanding of analog, digital and microprocessor circuits
- Understanding of audio, video and RF circuits
- Working knowledge of C, C++ and LINUX

The following additional qualifications are a strong plus:
- Working knowledge of cable infrastructure equipment such as CISCO SA and/or Motorola Headend equipment
- Proficiency in network administration and desktop support
