Job: Coach / Counselor

Ridge View Academy, is an athletic, vocational and educational program working with boys ages 14-18. Located in Watkins (just east of Aurora), Colorado, we are looking for full time Coach/Counselors. Coach / Counselors work 3 1/2 day shifts with 3 1/2 days off, 45 hours per week. Work is in a modern juvenile detention facility, coaching, acting as a role model, supervising and improving the lives of youth.

The minimum age requirement is 21 years old. Must have a High School diploma and 2 years experience working with youth and/or 60 hours of college credit.

2 years expierence and 60 hours of college credit
Must be able to pass FBI and CBI criminal background check
Must attend and satisfactorially complete all training in the first 60 days
Ability to pass Drug Screen, TB Test and Physical
Ability to participate with youth in daily physical activities (Calisthenics, 3-mile runs, Sports Practice, etc.)
Must provide current drivers license, proof of vehicle insurance and MVR
