Job: School Based Clinician

Clinician will provide therapeutic interventions to include individual, family, group and clinical case management with school based clients.
• Must work in a collaborative manner with school district staff and administration.
• Must work within school district policy.
• Must work in a collaborative manner with school based health center if one is present at the school.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy. (at least 50% of services must be family and group therapy)
• Plan and implement affective education classroom groups (as determined by manager).
• Plan and participate in mandatory summer camp program held in the month of June.
• Attend parent-teacher conferences and back to school nights.
• Provide consultation with school district staff.
• Provide contact notes in TIER for all un-enrolled Medicaid clients seen at school.
• Attend school staff meetings as requested.
• Attend client’s psychiatric appointments at JCMH as needed. Always attend the initial appointment.

Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field; plus 3 or more years related experience and/or training or LCSW, LPC, LMFT or comparable license; plus 2 or more years related experience and/or training; Equivalent combination of education and experience may also be substituted. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
