Jobing Description
Provide leadership and supervision to the clinicians on the Family Services Outpatient team, including supervision for licensure. Excellent clinical skills in family treatment, trauma-based treatment and treating foster care children. Monitor caseload size of clinicians, monitor the clinical need at each of the four out-patient offices and adjust staffing as needed. Monitor no-show rates for each clinician. Implement appropriate evidence-based programming to meet the needs of families and clients. Consult with clinicians on high-risk cases and make appropriate referrals for higher levels of care such as FFT, MST, Families Together, day treatment, RTC treatment, inpatient care.
„« Attends mandatory in-services, compliance with individualized training plan if required. „« Participates in supervision by coming prepared with an agenda. Reports high risk/problem cases, and utilizes a problem solving approach as well as feedback. Attends supervision at times and intervals agreed upon with supervisor. „« Satisfactorily completes 90% of peer review charts needing corrections within 14 calendar days (only areas for which staff are responsible). „« Ensures that 95% of all authorizations are accurate and timely (MCO & FlexServ). „« Submits 90% of all Progress-to-Date forms within 3 working days (team specific). „« Completes 95% of all paperwork by the due date. „« Completes 95% of case closings within 90 days after last contact, 210 days for meds only. „« Exhibits enthusiasm, courtesy, adaptability, flexibility, and spirit of cooperation in the work environment. „« Maintains effective interpersonal relations with consumers, peers, subordinates, upper management, visitors and the general public. May represent JCMH on various community agency boards and committees. „« Effectively responds to client/consumer needs and problems, initiates and maintains positive interactions, timely response to phone calls, pages, email and other requests. „« Works cooperatively with other community agencies, as appropriate, and in agreement with supervisor. Volunteers to work on Center committees and/or task forces. „« Respond to parent or agency concerns about clinical treatment. Skills / Requirements
Licensed Clinical Social Worker or comparable license plus four or more years related experience and/or training. Supervisory experience helpful. Clinical expertise in family treatment modalities, CBT, trauma treatment, reactive attachment, DBT, motivational interviewing, stages of change, episode of care, cultural competency . Flexibility in program development to meet the needs of The Center. Ability to build partnerships with community agencies. Computer proficiency and proficiency in the use of data. Prior experience in community mental health settings is helpful. Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple responsibilities.
