Total Longterm Care is a non-profit PACE program that provides health care and supportive services designed to assist seniors who want an alternative to nursing home placement.

We invite you to join us and help pioneer new ways of helping frail individuals live with dignity. Total Longterm Care (TLC) is seeking a compassionate, experienced primary care physician to serve as a VP of Medical Services.


TLC clinicians, nurses, therapists and social workers are changing the way long term care is delivered. Our focus, our reason for being, is to help a participant live independently, in the community, within the parameters of a safe, medically sound care plan. The TLC team challenges the boundaries of conventional care to find creative ways to maintain a participant’s quality of life. As a key member of that team you have the opportunity to practice quality medicine and make a significant impact on the lives of some of our most treasured citizens.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Director of Medical Services is responsible for the medical care of Total Longterm Care participants across a variety of settings, including but not limited to the ADHC clinic, participants’ homes, the nursing home, assisted living facilities and personal care boarding homes. Direct hospital inpatient care is not required but close coordination of care with hospital based providers is essential.

Skills / Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree. Postgraduate training in a primary care specialty, including but not limited to internal or family medicine. Completion of postresidency training in geriatric medicine preferred but not required. Must have active Colorado Medical License, DEA number and adequate malpractice coverage. Knowledge of how to use and maintain general office equipment. Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all staff. Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams. Skilled in identifying and recommending problem resolution. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information in a positive and proactive manner.
