Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner
Full Time - Basin Clinic
Provide primary, acute, chronic and emergent care to patients across the life span within the scope of the providers training and knowledge. Order and interprets diagnostic tests as indicated, prescribe medications as indicated by patient condition. Have a working knowledge of medications, their effect and interactions. Document all patient care in a timely and complete manner, maintain collegial relationships with other providers and staff, and demonstrate commitment to a teamwork environment. Act as a patient advocate, treat patients, families, staff and colleagues with respect.

Qualifications: Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing or physician assistant program. Adult or family RN-C - national certification required.

Training and Experience: Experience is preferred but may not be required. Orientation is based on previous knowledge and experience. Additional education/training in a related field is considered on an individual basis. ACLS, PALS, CPR certifications. ATLS audit encouraged.

Job Knowledge: Encompasses a wide range of nursing, psycho-social and medical information which includes nursing process, communications and problem-solving, assessment and prioritizing skills.
