Job: Part-Time Starbucks Barista

Position Summary:
To provide cashiering services for patrons of Starbucks and make the beverages ordered. Ensure the pastry and display shelves are stocked.

Essential Functions:
Adhere to guest service requirement listed above.
Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
This is a uniformed position, which requires that team member’s are in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty.
Receive cash or credit card from customers in payment for goods or services.
Make beverages according to Starbucks standards.
Compute bills on P.O.S. System or adding machine, make change, and issue receipt.
May be required to know value of menu items.
May give cash refunds or credit memorandums as directed by Supervisor/Manager.
Ensure that Service Quality and Standards are followed.
Answer any guest related questions in the Ameristar Standard.
Answer telephone in a professional manner

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Previous cash handling experience is helpful.
Must have excellent guest service skills
Able to operate a P.O.S. System and/or adding machine and make change
Must have basic math skills
Must be very friendly and outgoing
