Masters preferred. Min. 5 yrs current healthcare exp. in clinical-care environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Provides clinical leadership within Supply Chain Management and designated facilities through practical application and critical thinking derived from an extensive background of nursing experience. Serves as clinical liaison to executive leadership to maintain and communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for clinical and financial performance measurements related to Clinical Value Analysis. Resource for maintaining balance between optimal clinical outcomes, promoting excellence in quality of care with appropriate product utilization and supply stewardship. To be an integral part of the facility based senior leadership decision making body as it relates to supply decisions which affect patient outcomes and clinical supply expense management. Serves as liaison with Physicians, clinical areas, and vendors to facilitate the resolution of clinical issues resulting from the standardization of or introduction of products and vendors. Provides Centura Health centralized Clinical Value Analysis services and cost containment activities related to product utilization and standardization. Work in collaboration with Director of Supply Chain to report to the Assistant Vice President Logistics/Operations and facility CFO identified supply reduction/savings opportunities and facility issues on a routine basis. Accountable for communicating upcoming changes, issues and trends related to clinical supply issues to on-site Executive Leadership, Nursing Leadership and Department Directors in a timely, clear and concise manner. Serves as liaison to Clinical Supply Stewardship Teams to ensure that the teams achieve annual target savings goals while representing Supply Chain Management and System-wide needs. Skills / Requirements
* Education: Minimum Bachelors Degree in Nursing required, Masters Degree Preferred (comparable level of experience considered)
Detailed knowledge of clinical and non-clinical health care products. Knowledge of project planning, data analysis, financial reporting and presentation skills required. Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Change Management and Rapid Decision Making Process * 5 years in an acute care setting, Perioperative Services, Emergency Department, Cardiac Care or Critical Care preferred * Moderate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Project. * Lawson ERP experience Preferred * CRMP certification Preferred * Excellent team leadership and project * Current Registered Nurse License.
