HSS is currently seeking a Security Site Supervisor to join our local team!
Job Description:
The Supervisors report to the Director of Security, provide operational support, supervision and direction for field sites. (Non-exempt position)
Essential Functions/Duties:
Leadership skills to provide direction to all Security Officers and assist with areas of responsibility as needed; Provide back-up response to alarms and/or patrol stops for the Roving Patrol as needed
Provide support for all assigned field sites to include random exterior patrols of the sites and inspections of assigned personnel;
Effectively manage, motivate, coach and formally evaluate the performance of all direct reports;
Assist with the development of Competency Tasks and training plans to include tracking the effectiveness of all security activities;
Assist with the development and implementation of measurement and evaluation tools for efficiency, accuracy, timeliness, and costs/benefits of each area of responsibility;
Make recommendations for the creation, modification, and updating of policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines as they relate to the assigned field sites;
Assist with the development and implementation of controls for accurate and timely patrol and alarm response activities and to provide relief breaks for on-site security officers;
Implement and monitor internal controls to confirm security officer compliance with facility orders, alarm response requirements and all other job duties.
Respond to incidents in the field proactively and in response to requests for assistance from any HSS Security Manager, Lead, Assigned Officer, Patrol Officers and coordinate the proper response and internal notifications as appropriate.

Skills / Requirements
Qualifications:
Associates degree in related field preferred;
Minimum of 2 years experience in security patrol or law enforcement;
Excellent customer service and communication skills (oral, written and presentation);
Competent using personal computer as well as word processing, data management, and spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Office products to include ability to learn the VISION Labor Management Software, and e-SRTä
Demonstrated ability to effectively articulate in writing;
Proven ability to work as part of a high performance team;
Demonstrated ability to train security personnel as needed/required;
Eligible for HSS driving privileges and/or meets HSS insurance coverage requirements; possess a valid state unrestricted driver's license.
