Summary: Supervises and directs all Garage operations, to include, Valet, Expeditors, Key Control, Cashiers and General Maintenance Attendant.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Oversees and monitors all Garage operations • Monitors and is responsible for issuing, and accounting for Garage Validations; including departmental and group. • Works closely with Conference Managers to coordinate parking for scheduled events • Utilizes all tools, including 30-day/Weekly occupancy forecast, resumes, Monthly Event Worksheets, to ensure that events, special billing and Garage demands are being planned and scheduled in advance • Works closely with Loss Prevention to a monitor and assign traffic control as needed • Prints and oversees appropriate event signage • Maintains inventory and orders supplies, as needed • Ensures that all daily and nightly reports are accurate and closed at the end of each shift • Oversees Key Control and assists with daily duties to include, accurate over-night posting and board checks • Directs Valet Expeditors accordingly • Stages all out-going and incoming vehicles • Completes Garage checks and check-list, ensuring that all vehicles are locked, aligned and placards are in place • Schedules daily and bi-annual maintenance/cleaning of the Garage • Maintains garage equipment and ensures that scheduled maintenance is taking place on the McGann equipment, Easy-Go people mover, Easy-Go Service vehicle and pressure washer • Stays in close communication with the Main Door to ensure that vehicles are being moved to and from the Garage expeditiously • Ensures that a “people mover driver” is assigned as needed to transport valets to and from the Garage • Performs all other duties, as assigned Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Math Ability: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Certificates and Licenses: Colorado Drivers License. Computer Skills: Basic word processing and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Knowledge of AS400 preferred.
