Job: Entry Level On Call Direct Support Position

Mosaic serves approximately 165 people with developmental disabilities in a variety of settings. We are looking for individuals of high integrity with a heart for caring for others with various disabilities. We offer a drug free work place with great benefits, referral bonuses and opportunities for growth! As an On Call staff member, there are no guaranteed maximum or minimum hours per week. You must be available at least 10 hours per month to work in a variety of settings.

As primary caretaker you will be responsible for providing support for the daily living functions for people with developmental disabilities who may or may not have other medical conditions or physical disabilities. Responsibilities also include meeting their emotional support and achieving personal goals that are important to them. Duties include assisting or providing direct support in the following areas:

•monitoring the comfort and safety of clients
•ensuring that all medical needs are met
•maintain required documentation/files related to each client
•feeding, bathing, and/or dressing individuals
•assisting with general housekeeping, meal preparation and laundry duties
•providing transportation to community, social and spiritual activities using the company or personal vehicle
•assisting with the handling of their money and finances
•providing appropriate leisure time activities
•attend and participate in all required meetings and trainings

Minimum Requirements:
This is an entry level position.

Special Requirements: Applicants must be willing and able to do all of the following:
•work available various shifts when called upon(you tell us your availability)
•push, pull and lift items on a regular basis
•have a valid drivers license
•take and pass a pre employment/post job offer drug and Physical Function test
•submit to a background check and a motor vehicle records check
•commit to 40 hours of training within the first 90 days of employment
