Job: Senior Equipment Design Engineer- Longmont, CO

Matheson Tri-Gas, Inc., a leading supplier of specialty gases & equipment, is seeking a Senior Equipment Design Engineer to be responsible for the coordination of manufacturing processes and documentation for the UHP equipment manufacturing facility. Individual develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods and equipment design, utilizes knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. This individual will be a direct report to the UHP Equipment Plant Manager.

Requirements:

Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Degree

Strong background in computer science

8+ yrs. experience in design engineering or related field

Six Sigma certification a plus

Multi-year experience with Mechanical and/or Chemical processes, preferably in the area of UHP gas handling equipment and/or related components.

Strong communication skills & proficient with MS Office software

Develop Sequence of operations tables

Proficient with AutoCAD

Solids Modeling (Inventor/ProE/ME10) - strong plus

Knowledge of SEMI S2 and S22 standards

Knowledge of CE and other applicable standards

Ability to coordinate and execute multiple projects simultaneously with the capacity to work independently.

You will also have the ability to quickly organize the Engineering Department in the Longmont, CO Branch while championing detail-oriented manufacturing. Position has direct interaction with key customers and requires the willingness to travel as needed.
