Responsibilities:
Provides managerial and/or clinical support to dialysis department patients and staffSupervises employees and participates in selection, orientation, counseling, evaluation and staff schedulingResponsible for dialysis competenciesHas 24 hour responsibility for the provision of high quality, safe and cost effective patient care, environmental control and customer serviceWill function as the Director of Nursing during his/her absenceMaintains a depth and breadth of clinical and management knowledge to advance the nursing professionInspires leadership skills in all nursing positionsDemonstrates clinical proficiency in the care of patients of age groups served by the assigned clinical unitsDemonstrates Service Excellence in daily activities by modeling Service Standards and by reinforcing efforts of others with positive feedback and recognitionHas the clinical competence and knowledge required to assess outcomes related to the age group(s) served in the assigned units.

Minimum Qualifications:
A current or temporary Colorado or other compact state RN licensure (or the ability to obtain one) is requiredDemonstrated leadership ability and at least 3 years clinical experience relevant to the patient population and scope of care of the Dialysis departmentThe demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective communication and working relationships with staff, physicians, patients and their families is requiredPrefered Qualifications:
Educational preparation at the level of a Bachelor's Degree in healthcare is minimally preferred, Master's Degree in healthcare is strongly preferredAdditional related education and/or experience preferred in Outpatient Dialysis.
