Job: Case Manager

The Footsteps Program, being offered at Boulder and Jefferson County Jails, provides a continuum of specialized adult offender substance abuse and dual diagnosis treatment that begins in jail and continues in the community. It includes 12 step and peer services.

We are looking for Full-Time and Part-time Case Managers to join our team!


Position summary: The Case Manager is responsible for Client assessment, goal planning and case management for individuals as they transition from jail-based treatment to community-based treatment

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in social work, psychology, counseling, counseling psychology, or a related field (Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year to year basis);
• Minimum of one year experience with criminal justice or substance abuse/dual diagnosis population;
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team;
• Ability to gather information and assess Client situation rapidly and accurately
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills;
• Knowledge of community resources and social service providers.
• Must be able to maintain program/guest/agency confidentiality, and treat each individual with dignity and respect; and
• Ability to handle crisis situations with a minimum of supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the criminal justice systems; and
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
