Job Summary

Provides support via research, analysis, process development and intervention to the assigned Finance Business Partner and the associated business group(s). Assists in the development and maintenance of specialized reports and performance metrics for the associated business group(s) and provides backup and assistance to the assigned Finance Business Partner when implementing changes to Finance philosophy and procedures throughout the organization to promote efficient and effective operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

*Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This includes being informed about the issues of children and influencing others to care about children who are in need. *Financial Analysis: *Supports key customers on business development and cost management opportunities through the development of key financial research and analysis related to these opportunities. *Assists in the development and maintenance of ad-hoc modeling to meet the needs of the Finance Business Partners. *Assists in the analysis and research of identified financial risk areas and actions (e.g. variances, trends, etc.). *Business Process Support: *Assists in the analysis and research of financial initiatives of the business group(s) as directed by the Finance Business Partner to assist in prioritization and sequencing of the initiatives. *Works with the Finance organization and the assigned business group(s) in the integration of key financial systems with IT platforms. *Works with the Finance organization in the development of new or modification of existing reports for the business group(s) as directed by the Finance Business Partner and assists in the presentation of these reports to the business users. *Customer Service: Provides routine customer service to the business group(s). *Training Support: *Assists in the development and implementation of potential training opportunities for financial skills within the business group(s) as directed. *Assists in the communication of policies and procedures, solicits feedback for modification, develops training and follow-up to ensure adherence for the business group(s) as directed. *Assists in the development and presentation of the results of analyses and research done on assigned topics and issues for the business group(s). *Serves as a backup for the Finance Business Partner in meetings and activities of the business group(s) as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required


*Bachelors degree in Finance or Business related degree.
*Four or more years experience in financial accounting and reporting functions.
*Knowledge of financial systems. Microsoft Dynamics GP experience preferred.
*Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Powerpoint.
*Effective organizational skills with strong process focus.
*Strong problem-solving logic. Ability to listen, analyze, and develop solutions to complex problems.
*Ability to prioritize and multi-task while meeting commitments regarding deliverables and timelines.
*Knowledge of financial modeling and the Concepts of Management Accounting (CMA) preferred.
Working Conditions
May require travel in developing countries with exposure to safety and disease hazards.
