Job: Senior High - Math (Part-time/Hourly)

McLain Community High School is seeking a part time math teacher who is dedicated to the teaching profession and helping students of all ages and abilities to succeed. This position requires commitment to alternative educational approaches, teamwork, and a thorough knowledge of District standards, this position is a night time position.
TITLE: TEACHER, LICENSE REQUIRED, NON-NEGOTIATED POSITION
Endorsement: Mathematics
Program Assignment - Part time Competency Based (Adult High School)
Availability- 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Monday -Thursday
Qualifications:
1. Valid Colorado teacher license or certificate with endorsement and supporting hours and/or experience in science.
Special Work Requirements:
1. Work a flex schedule evenings.
2. Work in a cooperative decision-making environment with other programs and building staff.
3. Compile, analyze and interpret data to enhance learning.
Preferred Work Experience With:
1. Adults 18 years old and older
2. At- risk, non-traditional populations
3. Alternative scheduling and settings
4. Advising and guiding students in individualized goal-setting
5. Knowledge of classroom instruction, accounting systems and procedures
6. Collecting and analyzing data.
