Jobing Description

We are looking for one full-time Pediatrician to work with our partners at Mountainland Pediatrics, Inc. The Pediatrician will provide direct comprehensive medical evaluation, treatment planning, and primary care intervention for children and adolescents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Examines, evaluates and treats medical illness and injuries of infants, children, adolescents and young adults.
Determines the need for clinical laboratory tests and other interventions.
Interprets examination findings and test results, and implements treatment plans.
Monitors physical, psychosocial and developmental growth while conducting age appropriate screening.
Prepares and reviews cases to staff with appropriate supervisor and/or collaborating physician.
Provides advice and education for consumers and parents regarding appropriate preperation for predictable developmental challenges.
Determines need for consultation and assists in medical care treatment provided by the direction of other specialists.
Participates in program planning of the integration of primary care and mental health.
May instruct medical students, residents and other trainees in procedures for diagnosis and treatment of medical illnesses and injuries.

Skills / Requirements

Requirements:

Must hold a Doctorate of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Must have a valid DEA license.
Must be licensed to practice in the State of Colorado.

Preferred Qualifications:

Board Certified Pediatrician.
