Job Details:
Summary: Registers patients to receive medical services. Performs bedside registration with all direct admit patients. Obtains demographic information, validates insurance, and receives payments. Answers and/or refers questions received from patients, visitors, staff as appropriate. Performs various related clerical functions. Ensures patients registration is completed accurately and in a timely manner. Ensures excellent customer service by walking all patients to their destination and friendly demeanor. Incumbents in this position may perform all, or a combination of the duties described depending upon their assigned work area and the specific needs of the department.

Requirements: High School graduate or GED required. Medical terminology required within 18 months of hire date. Knowledge of basic computer programs, ie excel, word, etc. Customer Service experience preferred. Keyboarding skills. 35wpm preferred. Closing Date November 8, 2009
