Job: School Mental Health Navigator-PT Contract

To improve access to mental services for school age youth by training school district staff on mental health issues, offering consultation with school staff and to providing a direct link to Center programs and services that meet the mental health needs of the individual students. To assist in the coordination, implementation and facilitation of Life Skills Training in the schools.


• Meet with school district staff to offer trainings on mental health issues and to discuss referral process for youth that could benefit from mental health services. Provide a direct link to Center programs.
• Effectively engage consumer and family in the treatment process
• Maintains up to date knowledge of all center programs that can be accessed to meet the needs of individual student/clients and families.
• Work collaboratively with school district staff to coordinate and implement the Life Skills Training program.
• Create a data collation system and utilize it to track delivery of services to include: liaison work, trainings, and consultations, direct linkage to services and promotion and implementation of the Life Skills Training Curriculum.
• Provide mental health prevention services to school requesting those services and coordination with other center programs (wellness) that can offer services in the schools.

Masters level clinician, license preferred, plus four or more years related experience and/or training.
