	H.M. Brown & Associates is an automobile brokerage firm founded in 1986 by General Manager, Bud Brown.
1986		H.M. Brown & Associates has been built one customer at a time. In 1985, after graduating from college (and after a short stint with General Electric), Bud followed his lifelong passion for automobiles and began working at a Colorado franchised automobile dealer. While Bud enjoyed the interaction with his customers and selling automobiles, he thoroughly detested the selling process used by the dealership. There had to be a better way! In May 1986, Bud left the dealership to begin an automobile brokerage firm, a new concept in 1986 that would ultimately set the standard for customer treatment in the automobile business.
