Provides a wide variety of administrative and staff support services to the department. Operates a personal computer utilizing department specific software programs. Prepares and/or composes correspondence, memos and reports. Screens telephone calls and visitors. Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments and meetings for the Director. Attends management meetings, takes minutes and distributes minutes as appropriate. Assists with special projects. Assists with budge preparation. Responsible for effective stewardship of resources in own area of responsibility.
Serves as a liaison for all non-clinical staff within the department.
Skills / Requirements
Provides administrative support to Rehab Department Management. Strong computer skills including Excel, Access/databases, Word. Prefer experience with transcription, reception, purchasing, Outlook. 5 years experience as Administrative Assistant and 2 years in health care setting.
