Jobing Description
This position is responsible for but not limited to: clean calcareous deposits, accretions, and stains from teeth supra and sub-gingivally. Scaling, Root Planing and Perio maintenance cleanings, determine whether patient needs 3, 4 or 6 month recall. Apply fluorides and other decay preventing agents to arrest dental decay. Polish and floss teeth. Administer local anesthetic agents, if licensed. Take and record medical and dental histories and updated personal information in patient-s chart. Expose and develop x-ray film. Greet the patient, making them feel at-ease and comfortable.
Skills / Requirements
Graduate from an accredited Dental Hygiene School followed by successful completion of the National and State Boards.
Candidate must excel in customer service! Must be energetic, enthusiastic, a team player, detailed and have the ability to multitask.
