HOME BASED Reservation Sales Representative
MUST be in the areas of Minot, ND, Grand Junction, CO and Phoenix, AZ (Phx-North Valley area) Preferred candidates will be within 30-45 minutes of centers in those locations. You may be coming into the office from time to time.

Training to begin: April 16, 2012 Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pm CST

Home Based Position
Our hours of operation are 24 hours per day 7 days a week
$9.00/Hr plus incentive pay, with a .25 per hour increase after 90 days
In addition to base pay and incentive, associates receive:
$1.00 per hour evening shift differential pay between 4:00pm - 11:59pm
$2.00 per hour mid-watch differential pay which is a scheduled shift from 10:30pm - 7:00am
If hired you must be able to:
Represent Choice Hotels International's affiliated hotels via the voice network. The sales representative converts calls into sales and maximizes revenues for franchisees; and promotes Choice Hotels International's loyalty program (Choice Privileges) and Choice approved partner programs.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
*Represents all affiliated hotels by use of positive communication skills with the public
*Produces maximum revenues for affiliated hotels by utilizing positive sales and marketing techniques
*Acquires and maintains current knowledge of product, policies, and procedures
*Provides services for clients by performing computerized reservations through the general reservation and call forwarding systems
*Assists in handling and/or directing calls for customer satisfaction
*Provides services for our marketing partnerships by offering value-added services to our customers
*Attend virtual meetings as well as face to face meetings and or training programs as scheduled

Skills / Requirements

*High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
*Basic Windows-based computer skills preferred
*Excellent sales ability
*Good speaking voice; communication must be clear and concise
*Excellent customer-service skills
*Successful completion of Sales Representative training program
*Ability to convert inbound calls into sales
*Ability to maintain an acceptable average amount of time spent on calls
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
*This is a home based position. The associate must be willing and able to work from home.
*Must comply with the terms and conditions of the Home Based Associate Agreement
*Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
*Must provide high speed internet service with DSL, Extended DSL, Fiber, or Cable with a speed of 768 symmetrical, with a ping time less than 150
*You must have a desk and ergonomic chair
*A workspace with appropriate lighting and ventilation
*A separate phone line with dial tone in your home office for use during your shift
*Adequate power and grounding for the computer equipment and home office
*A fire extinguisher for use in your home in case of an emergency
*A surge protector for plugging in all home office electrical equipment
*Must agree not to be a primary care giver of any person during your scheduled shift
