Located just seven miles north of downtown Denver, Adams 12 Five Star Schools is close to the conveniences of a major city center yet far enough to offer the quiet of the suburbs. The five stars represent the five unique communities the district serves: Broomfield, Federal Heights, Northglenn, Thornton and Westminster.

EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:
?High school diploma or equivalent.
?Minimum of 18 years of age.
?No experience required; experience in general cleaning, chemical handling and customer service preferred.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS or CERTIFICATIONS:
?Criminal background check required for hire.
?Ability to successfully complete a pre-hire, post-offer physical examination.
?BOCES (safety) and AHERA (asbestos) training required within 3 months after entering position.
TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
?Ability to acquire skills necessary to operate various types of cleaning equipment.
?Ability to promote and follow Board of Education policies, Superintendent policies and building and department procedures.
?Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with all people, including those from diverse ethnic and educational backgrounds.
?Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate administrator.
MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT OPERATING KNOWLEDGE:
?Operating knowledge of basic custodial equipment preferred at hire; required within 3 months after entering position.
?Responsible for addressing the individuals? complaints and resolving their problems.
