Job Summary
The system administrator works with a project team to ensure that end-user computer and network systems are optimized for maximum productivity.This can include trouble shooting desktops, domain issues, various engineering applications such as SmartPlant 3D, and network operations.

Other duties to include:
  1. Active Directory management, Citrix management, forensic input and assistance, log management, software administration, GPO management, SCCM patch troubleshooting and asset management.
  2. Provide cross-functional coverage for other network administrators. 
  3. Assist with PKI management.
  4. Image and deploy workstations
  5. Review required specifications and issue purchase orders for equipment.
  6. Frequent interface with management and end-users.
  7. Attend project team and functional meetings
  8. Assist with network outages, upgrades, and supports security audit activities
  9. Work closely with project security management/ITPM in the implementation of security requirements
  10. Other related duties may be assigned as necessary to support the overall information systems mission
This position requires exceptional flexibility, stress management and prioritization skills in a regulated environment.

Minimum Requirements
  • US Citizen
  • This position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance
  • Associates Degree or equivalent in computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ of related experience
  • Understanding of Windows System Administration
  • Understanding of Active Directory
  • Citrix Administration
  • SIEM Log management
  • VMware administration
  • Desktop deployment and technical support
  • Experience with Forensics
  • Switching and network infrastructure
  • Change management and documentation skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work within a cross functional team
  • Positive working attitude with end users
  • Must work on site

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous or Active Clearance
  • Support Windows Servers environment from 2008 to 2016
  • Knowledge of Identity Management
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange environments
  • Previous experience supporting systems that comply with Government Regulations such as NIST 800-171 and NN-801 compliance
