Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a Project Controller for our Denver, CO location. Responsibilities of this position will include, but not be limited to the following:

Assisting the lead Project Specialist and Project Approver with multiple duties, including:

  • Monitoring and keeping up to date AECOM’s Salesforce and ePM program to track current and future pursuits
  • Submitting contract review requests and coordinating with AECOM’s legal department as needed for proposals and awarded projects
  • Submitting insurance certification requests per client/contract requirements
  • Assisting in the setup of new projects in ePM upon receipt of authorization
  • Assisting in the coordination of Subcontract Administrators for procurement and sub-contracting process
  • Developing and monitoring process for safe work plans and AECOM safety compliance
  • Assisting the review of draft invoices, AR follow-up, and reviewing of MDOT Payment Vouchers
  • Assisting the review of subcontractor invoicing, fielding and responding to outstanding AP inquiries from subcontractors and oordinating with AECOM AP for payment releases
  • Tracking project budgets and costs incurred
  • Assisting in submitting labor/non labor transfers as needed
  • Assisting with entering amendments and project revisions
  • Assisting the coordination of healthy starts, monthly project reviews and EAC's

Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Proficient in using spreadsheets, word processing and standard office software
  • Excellent problem solving, math and accounting skills
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage tasks with aggressive deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility/adaptability
  • Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required

  • Degree in business or accounting-related field or demonstrated equivalent experience and abilities
