Wood is currently recruiting for a Finanical Analyst/Project Accountnat with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.
The Capital Project Process & Energy group is seeking a Financial Analyst for the Pipelines Division (Pipeline Construction & Pipeline Services). The role will support the Business partner to ensure accurate and up to date financial information to support the Pipelines Division. This position will be responsible for the proper and timely recording of financial transactions to the general ledger, monthly review project margins and working capital initiatives. In addition, the Financial Analyst will participate in the budgeting and forecast process.
**Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship is required**
Skills / Qualifications
- Ensure proper lump sum revenue recognition
- Serve as a liaison between project controls and operational leads to ensure project set up and forecasts updates.
- Prepare Financial Dashboard and working capital analytics
- Assist with annual budget & forecast preparation of the assigned entities
- Process Improvement initiatives and training of accounting staff as needed.
- Various special projects
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relative experience required
- CPA desirable
- 5 years of experience in accounting/finance
- Supervisory Experience
- Oracle Experience desirable
